Store Spotlight • Little Mistress

Hi everyone!

Don't you love discovering new clothing brands and online stores? Well, I know I do. I was recently introduced to Little Mistress. I had never heard of this brand before, even though it is widely available at a number of online stores, including ASOS and River Island. Little Mistress is a UK based company with a rapidly growing reputation as a 'must have' label. Everything from their current collection is gorgeous and very feminine.

The Little Mistress A/W 12 collection consists of 3 trends: Oriental Express, Eccentric Folk, and Vintage Victoriana. These collections are made from eye popping prints in a variety of shapes, patterns, and colours - burgundy, teal, cobalt blue, purple, wine, and deep red -  which combine influences of Eastern Europe and the Orient.

After seeing so many pretty dresses on their website, I decided to share with you my favourites. I would surely be a very happy girl if these formed part of my closet!!

If you loved these dresses, and Little Mistress clothes for that matter, then I'm sure you will enjoy what I'm about to share with you lovely lot. Designer vs Deal #4

Hi everyone!

In this Designer vs Deal post, I decided to include those items that are currently quite popular in the blogosphere, just like I did in the last post. Nearly all of these items are exact dupes of the designer pieces. The only item that is not identical to the designer one is the Robyn Black Jumper from Glamorous. The pattern is more or less similar to the Stella McCartney Erica Embroidered Dress though.

Are any of these designer pieces on your wishlist? And will you be purchasing them now that you know of an affordable dupe? Or would you rather purchase the designer pieces anyway?

If there is a designer piece that you love so much but cannot afford it and want a dupe of it, get in touch with me through Facebook orTwitter, or else by email, and I'll include the affordable dupe in my next Designer vs Deal post!

If I was a rich girl...

Hi everybody!

Who doesn't love to dream about being able to afford all the designer clothes, shoes, and accessories we like? Today I decided to let my mind drift away and pretend that I can purchase every item that I like, just like Blair Waldorf. I spent all morning in heaven, that is, the Matches website.

''Matches has become a brand in its own right - an icon retail experience...offering the best of the best in established and new international labels.''

I therefore decided to pick a dress and create an outfit of how I would style it from day to night. I surely was spoilt for choice. Oh my, so my gorgeous things. Well, if I had all the money in the world, you will surely see me going around wearing these items...

I chose this really pretty navy blue Suzannah full skirted fifties dress as a base for my day to night looks. For the day time look, I decided to team it with flat Opening Ceremony Julietta loafers to tone down the dress. I then matched a burnt-orange Maison Martin Margiela leather doctor's bag to the burnt-orange detail of the loafers. I chose this handbag style in order to keep with the retro feel of the dress. To finish off the look, I chose a dainty Kiki McDonough diamond and yellow gold bee necklace to further enhance the femininity of this outfit.

With regards to the night time look, I paired the dress with nude Christian Louboutin Love Me pumps. According to the Matches website, these pumps ''will complement your look to romantic Parisian perfection'', and this is exactly what I was trying to portray with this outfit. Score. Again, the small navy bow will further enhance the femininity of this outfit. To finish off this night time outfit, I then chose this Bottega Veneta nude-pink woven satin box clutch bag and this statement Shourouk blush-pink wax necklace. And hello glamourous girl!

A girl is allowed to dream right? :) Which fashion pieces would you purchase from Matches if you had all the money in the world?

For those of you who are looking to purchase a designer piece, Matches Fashion are currently offering FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY on all orders until midnight (GMT) Monday 10th December 2012 by using the code FREE12 at checkout.

Cinderela B • Bloggers Competition

Hi everyone!

In the spirit of the festive season, Cinderela B, a luxury designer jewellery label, launched an exclusive competition for bloggers to win £100 to spend on their website. I was invited to take part in this competition, and I couldn't not participate. How could I resist a chance of winning some gorgeous pieces of jewellery from this brand? To take part, all one had to do was to create a collage of  the ultimate Christmas party outfit, featuring one's favourite item/s from Cinderela B. The winner will then receive £100 to buy any item/s from Cinderela B's website. A-maz-ing!!

This is my entry...

I decided to break the norm of wearing a dress to a Christmas party, and keep this outfit simple, yet transforming it into a somewhat classic one because of the blazer and the glamorous jewellery and accessories. Due to the outfit's simplicity, one's eyes will surely be immediately directed onto the gorgeous Cinderela B vintage Roxy necklace. I love how this necklace is bang on the chunky necklace trend but is truly sparkly and glamorous at the same time. I decided to include further hints of gold in the accessories (bag and shoes), and then adding red lipstick to finish off this look. I'm in love with this outfit, and this is definitely something I would wear to a Christmas party.

What do you think of this necklace? Do you like how I incorporated it into this outfit? How would you style the necklace yourself?
