Introducing • Grabble

Hi everyone!

As if I don't already have enough bookmarked websites on my browser's bookmarks bar, I have just added another one this morning. I'm not complaining though. Speaking of my bookmarks bar, I have a 'To Buy' folder where I put links to my most loved items on the internet in order to be easier for me to find them when I'm in the mood for, or can afford to do, some online shopping. However, with the help of the recently launched Grabble, I can now store all of my favourite fashion pieces, wishlists, payday treats, and more, in one place by simply clicking a button. Unlike my folder on the bookmarks bar, I now also have the added benefit of receiving an alert when one of the items in my collections goes on sale. How cool is that?

The first collection I created on my Grabble account was a Valentine's Day outfit I would wear if my boyfriend took me on a romantic dinner date overlooking the Eiffel Tower. A girl can dream, right? :) For such a special occasion, I would wear a black circle skirt teamed with a black and white striped top, and layered with a black leather jacket. For accessories, I would certainly wear a statement necklace, diamond earrings, a pair of leather gloves, and a clear clutch bag. To give the outfit a pop of colour, I would wear a pair of red heels and finish off the look with red lipstick. All the items I chose are from ASOS, and you can be redirected to each piece by clicking on the image above.

What would be your perfect Valentine's Day outfit?

How I Style • Matching Separates

Hi everyone!

For this week's post, I decided to style a white two-piece. From Alexander Wang and Tory Burch to Tess Giberson and Oscar de la Renta, white was all over the SS14 catwalks. Fortunately enough, cutting edge brand UNCUT have created a catwalk copy of Oscar de la Renta's two-piece embroidered dress but for a fraction of the price. For just £50.00, you can get this laser-cut pleather top and shorts by UNCUT exclusively at USC.co.uk as from the end of February. But until this two-piece is available for purchase, take a look at how I would style it in three different ways.

Ideal for a night out, I accessorised the matching two-piece with a silver collar necklace and these gorgeous ZARA lace-up boots which are now on my 'To Buy' list. To hold my phone, money, and some make-up bits and bobs, I chose a black leather bag which can be used as a shoulder bag, cross-body bag, or as a clutch. And if the weather is somewhat cold, a black leather jacket goes perfectly well with the rest of the outfit. I would probably opt for this faux leather one from Pull & Bear, which is being sold for around €50 (£39.99/$65.41).

I styled the second outfit to be more appropriate for a casual night out or even as a day time look. This time, I paired the white two-piece with just a pair of black open-toe boots and a clear clutch bag. Since the top has quite a low v-neck, I would also add a statement necklace to this outfit.

The third outfit is the most casual of them all since I teamed the top and shorts with a pair of classic converse in black leather. Perfect for when you're on holiday in the summer months, I accessorised with the coolest chunky silver hoop chained necklace, a matt silver ring, and a black bucket bag to hold the camera and any other holiday essentials. And what is summer without a pair of sunglasses?

Which is your favourite outfit? And how would you style this matching two-piece?

How I Style • Plain White Tees

Hi everyone!

I love doing How I Style posts, especially because such posts are a great excuse to spend even more time on Polyvore in order to combine multiple outfits using a common clothing piece. I recently asked on Facebook for some suggestions on what I should style next, and one of you suggested plain white t-shirts. I love plain tees, especially white ones, since you can dress them down or up (to a certain extent) depending on the event/occasion. I came up with 3 sets, and as usual, I just wish I can close my eyes and immediately find all these pieces in my closet, miraculously.

This outfit is quite laid-back, and is definitely something I would wear in Spring, or maybe even during some not-so-hot Summer days. I am currently loving the light coloured/distressed/boyfriend/rolled-up jeans trend, and have therefore decided to team up a plain white tee with this gorgeous ZARA boyfriend jeans. To further enhance the casualness of this outfit, I would definitely wear these pieces with a pair of white Converse. Since the outfit is fairly plain and simple, I opted to accessorise with a silver chunky chain necklace and a neon pink mini clear clutch. I would personally prefer a colour-less clutch, however, if you want to add a pop of colour to the outfit, this pink clutch would be perfect!

As you can immediately tell, this outfit is very 90s inspired. Simply team a plain white tee with your favourite denim dungarees to achieve that 90s kids look. There are plenty of shops selling dungarees at the moment, so you will definitely find your perfect pair! For accessories, I chose a silver Casio watch and thin silver rings, all from ASOS. To finish off the look, I teamed this outfit with a pair of white chunky heeled sandals, which are very 90s but more wearable than jellies in my opinion.

Plain white tees can also be dressed up for a shopping trip, lunch/dinner date, or for any other event actually. To achieve this look, simply team a plain white tee with a pair of black skinny jeans. I opted for the Topshop Jamie jeans with a ripped knee detail. To create a going-out look, I chose these classy black and gold ZARA heeled sandals and accessorised the outfit with a simple black and gold watch and a black hat, just to give the outfit a bit of an edge.

Which of these outfits is your favourite? How would you style plain white tees?
