July Wishlist

Hi everyone!

After failing to post my monthly wishlists since April, I am finally back on track!  Even though I'm already looking forward to wear my beloved winter clothes again, the Maltese weather will not permit me to do so until around November. In keeping with the current weather conditions, the items in this wishlist are very summery and somewhat colourful.

1) Star Spangled dungarees

I have been eyeing the gorgeous Waiste dungarees since forever, but I couldn't decided on which one I liked best. For obvious reasons, I couldn't get them all. So after spending literally around 2 months (or more?) deliberating on which one I should get, I finally settled for this black denim one with star details on the front panel. I love the fact that I can dress them up with a pair of black heels or down by wearing a pair of converse, so they are currently a must-have piece to add to my summer wardrobe.

2) Hamsa Hand and Elephant metal bangles

While browsing the Urban Outfitters website after learning that they are finally delivering to Malta - whoop! - I came across these gold dainty bangles with hanging charms. Instant love. 

3) Rivet rings

Keeping on the jewellery theme, these rivet rings from Persunmall also caught my eyes. I first decided that I wanted the black one since I don't have any black rings of that sort. However, I then came to the conclusion that they would also look great if worn layered. So, yes, I want all three of them now! 

4) Gertrude V Neck Playsuit in Wild Daisy Print

I made it a point that I want to introduce some more colour to my summer wardrobe. This Motel playsuit was perfect since it still had the black base colour that I dearly love, but also a pop of colour thanks to the pretty daisy print. 5) Lip Bullet in Heartbeat

I purchased Topshop's Lip Bullet in the shade Rockabilly while I was on holiday in Glasgow earlier this month. I loved this lipstick so much that I went on their website to hunt down some other shades that I like - I really liked Heartbeat for the summer months. Unfortunately, this shade is currently sold out on the website, so let's hope that my local Topshop still has it in store.

6) Colour Print shorts

While on the Persunmall website, I also spotted these colour print shorts. I immediately fell in love with their sport luxe feel, so these will soon be added to my wardrobe too. I can already imagine myself teaming them with a plain black tee, a chunky necklace and a pair of black or coloured heels! 

7) Sacha Neon Slipper shoes

I am not a neon person, but I can see myself wearing these River Island sandals in summer nonetheless. If I'm not mistaken, I had seen similar pairs in Topshop and Primark, but I somehow prefer the River Island ones. The touch of neon really makes a difference!

April Wishlist

Hi everyone!

It's time to share with you my April wishlist. As you can see, a particular colour - lilac - is quite dominant in this wishlist. I don't know how or why, but I'm currently obsessed with lilac...and unicorns...and flower headbands...and all of them combined. Everything on this wishlist reminds me of Spring and Summer, so I better get as many of these pieces soon since it's already feeling a lot like Summer in Malta.

1) I'm a Fucking Unicorn vest 

The combination of lilac, a Little Pony unicorn and Drop Dead makes me jump up with excitement - literally. I fell in love with this vest as soon as I saw it on the Drop Dead website, and I will do anything to have it in my wardrobe! So pretty!

2) Whole Lotta Rosie Headband 

To continue with the whole lilac theme, this rose headband is another gorgeous piece I want - or rather need - from Crown&Glory. What's not to love? 

3) Cupcakelicious tank

This High Heel Suicide cupcake tank is perfect for the hot summer days. The description on their website says that Everybody will want to eat you with this ultralight oversized tank top in off white. I'm up for the challenge :) 

4) Pointed high heels

I don't know what perfectly defines spring and summer better than this gorgeous floral print high heels! I love its pattern, colours, and pointed toe. Retailing at £45, how can I ever resist it? 

5) T-shirt skater dress

This cream skater dress from Fashion Union will be perfect for those summer days when it's too hot to put together an outfit. This dress comes with rolled-up sleeves and is available in all pretty spring shades, including cream, peach, blue and green.

6) Lavendairy nail polish

There's not much of an explanation to this nail polish, except that I want pretty lavender nails.

S/S '13 Must Haves

Hi everyone!

Malta's weather is currently hot and sunny. No, I'm not complaining! I already started to incorporate some summer pieces to my outfits, so I decided to share with you all my Spring/Summer must have items. 

Brogues

As the temperature starts to increase, boots are usually put to the side and replaced with sandals. Brogues are, however, another great alternative for this time of year since they can be worn without socks too. And the more coloured/eye catching the style of the brogues, the better! As you may know from my latest Designer vs Deal post, I'm currently eyeing this iridescent pair from Miista.

Floral headbands/crowns

What better way is there to accessorise an outfit than by wearing a vintage headband or floral crown? Especially in the Spring season, these pieces would look great when worn with a simple tee and a pair of boyfriend jeans for example. And how well does the pastel coloured floral crown go with the Miista brogues? Love.

Denim Shorts

Denim shorts are a perfect go to piece of clothing especially in the Summer months. Simply wear with a tee tucked in it and you're ready to go. There are loads of coloured denim shorts out there too, so don't be too scared to try on something new. After all, Summer is all about fun, right? 

Oversized tees

I personally don't like clothes that are too fitted in Summer, so these oversized tees from River Island are perfect. They would look super great if worn with a chunky chain necklace, and the best thing about them is that they are bang on the rolled-up sleeve trend. 

Sunglasses

Another Spring/Summer must have, and one of the most essential I must add, is a pair of sunglasses. The sun's rays are extreme sometimes, and even if they aren't, sunglasses can finish off an outfit quite nicely. I'm currently loving this pair from Romwe, and it goes perfectly well with any outfit due to it's neutral colour.

Frilly socks

Filly socks. I love them. I definitely think that they add a somewhat girly touch to an outfit, and would look great worn with brogues too! These gingham trim ankle socks from Topshop are the cutest.

Which are your S/S must haves? I just realised that all the items that I mentioned in this post can be worn together! That wasn't my intention, but I'm glad it turned out that way :)

Crazy Beautiful

Hi everyone!
